Picture frame dry erase board!

I was inspired by Ashley over at Make It and Love It and immediately fell in love with THIS idea. I went fabric crazy at Hobby Lobby the other day and got some precious fabrics for my future craft room. I was looking for ideas using fabrics and this was one that caught my attention. It is totally right down my alley.

I am a "list" girl and if I don't write something down, I will not remember to do it/buy it, etc. Let's just say that I have to-do lists EVERYWHERE and I thought this would be more of an organized way for me to keep track with not only what I need to do, but what supplies I need for all my crafty projects. I'm not going to lie, some times I am working on so many different things at one time, I lose track of what all I need and have literally had to go to Hobby Lobby 3 times in one day before. I am always forgetting SOMETHING!  Hopefully this will somewhat help the problem.

Enough of all my rambling, I know you are DYING to see pictures...!!!

 My fabulous dry erase board

 AND my fabulous cork board!

YAY! (excuse the flash, my camera pretty much sucks)

One more frame and some more beautiful fabric. Any ideas with what I can do with this one? I was thinking a magnetic board? Ideas appreciated!!!

Oh and BTW, these BEAUTIFUL frames came from Wal-Mart. $5 for the bigger one and $4 for the others. How awesome is that?!?

Just some more additions to my craft room in planning!

Michelle

Black & White

I will be decorating my new bedroom in black, white, and dark red. I am planning on buying THIS comforter from Target. Keeping it simple, classy, and elegant. Of course I couldn't wait to start making new pillows for my bed! I am LOVING all of the different black & white fabrics from Hobby Lobby and I love mixing and matching them. Here are a few pillows I put together so far:

I am pretty much going to go crazy making pillows with all my different black & white fabrics. I am definitely feeling some curtains also. They will be my next big sewing project. Wish me luck!

And I am just LOVING the zebra print parsons chair and bench from Kirlands:

Just a few thoughts on my soon-to-be new room. Let me know your thoughts, I would love any recommendations!

Inspired Easter Wreath!

I was inspired by THIS velcro wreath by Caitlin over at Caits Creates. I loved the idea, not to mention, the fact that almost everything came from the Dollar Store. I am always looking for new dollar store craft ideas.  Here is what I came up with:

I just love cute Easter decorations. And I also love the idea that I can use this same wreath for other holidays and seasons by just removing the velcroed (don't know if that is even a word, but you get my drift) pieces.

Happy Easter season!

Love,
Michelle

I found...

This cute little black end table.

This nice, sturdy desk (before I finished staining it).

This rocking chair (Can't wait to get my hands on this!).

And where, you might ask, did I find these?

ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!

Yes, I am THAT girl. Digging through piles of trash on the side of the road. Cars passing, looking at you like what is that crazy girl doing?!! Am I embarrassed? Of course not! I mean, it's well worth it when you find things like this! ;) You should try!

My first customer!

A lot of people have been telling me lately that I need to sell some of my stuff. I love the idea, especially since I want to have my own store one day where I sell everything that I make. I am in the process right now of making my very own online store! Kayla, who was in my girl scout troop FOREVER ago, follows my blog and saw some bows that I made for my cousin, Mary's, baby girl. Kayla has her own photography business and wanted to buy some of my bows to have for babies she photographs. What a cute idea!

Here are the bows that I made for her:

Then I attached them to these adorable stretchy head wraps.

I am so happy that someone actually wanted to buy something that I make! Thanks Kayla :)

Y'all should go check out Kayla's website:

She is FABULOUS!

Michelle
